Since I am spending less days each week on social media, I thought it would be nice to do a monthly roundup of my creative projects and bible journaling entries here each month. In this blog post, I will share with you where my creativity was drawn to for the months of December 2025 and January 2026.

DIY Iridescent Christmas Baubles

At the end of 2024, I was blessed enough to purchase a new Christmas tree to add to our home. But what I quickly realized when I unboxed it this past year was that I did not buy enough ornaments to go on this tree. And since I couldn’t see to find the ornaments in the particular colors that I was looking for, I decided to make my very own.

And don’t worry, when “Christmas in July” time starts to roll around, I plan on sharing on the blog just how easy it is to make these beauties.

DIY Simple Watercolor Sketchbook

Since I am in the middle of exploring new art mediums and would like to sketch more, I wanted to make my own simple sketchbook that I can travel with.

If you’d like to make one of these, you can follow my tutorial here.

Projects from Dear Elaine Co.

As a creative it is important to continuously challenge yourself and remain inspired. I have been working my way through Elaine Lee’s projects from her Urbanscape class and have been LOVING them.

I still have a couple of paintings left to do in the class and plan on sharing a full review of her class soon. Until then, here is a look of what I have worked on this past month:

Remember, that creativity is all about giving yourself permission to breathe, rest, and play.
