The Most Under Appreciated Color in Our Shop

I am about to let you in on a little secret.

This single paint color from our Dots & Dust Handmade Watercolor Collection has been my ABSOLUTE favorite lately. And it may be the one your least expect. It’s called “Lazy Days” and can be found in our Home Sweet Home Handmade Watercolor Set or as an Individual Half-Pan.

Why do I love it so much?

Most of the time, watercolor is translucent. But when you mix it with a color like Lazy Days that has white pigment within its formulation, it can create a lighter paint hue that is much more opaque. You can create beautiful opaque hues that can be muted or even pastel.

I personally love it to give my watercolor florals a warmer, romantic feel. It’s truly magical!
