In anticipation of celebrating both Galentine’s Day (Feb 13th) and Valentine’s Day (Feb 14th), I wanted to show you all of my favorite Instagram feeds that I LOVE to follow! And when I mean love, I mean I am pretty much fan-girling over them on the daily.

Best part?

They are all from women creatives!

You know me. I adore the whole “community over competition” vibe! And what better way to celebrate this month of love by sharing what these talented ladies have to offer.

So make sure you check them out, follow the ones that give you all the “heart eyes,” and tell them that Angie sent ya!

Art & Painting

Jenna Rainey with @jennarainey

If there was a perfect mix of watercolor prowess and witty weirdo (fellow weirdo right here), Jenna is it! Her feed is filled with bright color palettes, gorgeous florals, fun illustrations, and artistic inspiration for days. I can always count on Jenna to keep me inspired and challenged with her fun and easy to follow tutorials.  It is pretty safe to say I am a HUGE fan!

Sarah Cray with @sarahdandelioncray

If you have ever had the privilege of following one of Sarah’s watercolor tutorials from “Let’s Make Art”, you know how incredibly comfortable she can make you feel when it comes to painting something new. She is great at helping you embrace imperfections and her feed brings gentle comfort with the softest of muted palettes and the sweetest sense of humor.

Valerie McKeehan with @valeriemckeehan

Since I had the privilege of meeting Valerie on a video call about 3 years ago, I have always adored her soft demeanor and gentle spirit. And I promise, one look at her IG feed and you will feel like you were transported into a classical, ethereal painting. Her pastel art is downright DREAMY and her captions bring you a sense of peace and tranquility.

Sarah Simon with @themintgardener

Okay. I have ZERO shame in saying that Sarah is definitely on my list of “Can we be friends IRL, please?” 😂 Sarah’s feed is FULL of fairytale-like paintings of floral and fauna. From watercolor to ink to gouache, she seemingly blends all three to make a beautiful collection that makes you want to stop what you are doing a take a quiet walk in a garden.

Nicole Daniels with @rndillustrations

This girl, y’all. The watercolor skills are swoonworthy! From birth flower portraits to family portraits to landscapes and beautiful faith illustrations, Nicole can do it all. Need some proof? Take a peek at her past Halloween and Christmas house illustrations and I dare you to say this girl doesn’t have talent coursing through her veins.

Holly Nichols with @hnicholsillustration

Okay, I am gonna be real with you, sweet friend. I can EASILY spend hours just watching on Holly’s Instagram Reels as she draws up these amazing fashion illustrations. Every single one is an amazing work of art! And what do I absolute LOVE the most? Every girl she draws varies in ethnicity, size, and shape. Yes, queen! My daughter and I just cannot get enough! So much so that she has already requested a “Gryffindor” print for her birthday. FYI…I already have the “Ravenclaw” print on my wish list. 😉

Bible Journaling

Jenna Parde with @scribblinggrace

I have always looked up to Jenna’s mad skills with both acrylic and watercolor paints in her bible margins. Her feed is just full of great bible journaling tutorials on how to make those thin pages look crazy amazing! Not to mention, she is a fellow military wife and her heartfelt stories with her cute family are my absolute fave!

Hillary Krippaehne-Fernandez with @creativefaithco

Hillary is such a sweet soul that is easy to love. With a giving heart, she supplies wonderful resources, printables, and tutorials on how to set up your planners, bullet journals, and bibles for journaling. Always pointing you back to the Word of God, she is a wonderful inspiration to the bible journaling community.

Kate Peiffer with @beautiful.bible

One look at Kate’s feed and you know that you’ve come to the right place. With her classic style, elegant lettering, and muted tones, every journaling entry is just a complete work of art. And we all can’t help but go gaga over the way she using our handmade watercolors in her entries! Need an amazing gift for that friend at bible study? Her quilted bible covers are so adorable and are already on my wish list!

Stephanie Gammon with @faith.and.creativity

Me and Stephanie go way back in the IG world and her love for bible journaling has not skipped a beat over the years. She is a complete whiz when it comes to using inks, stamps, ephemera, and colored pencils. The way she blends her backgrounds, colors in her images, and pulls a bible journaling entry together is pure art. And don’t miss her IG captions! Her insight of God’s word is always one to take note of.

Storytellers

Lauren Lanker with @thinkingcloset

Where can I start with my friend, Lauren? Let’s just say if you want a feed that combines the love of faith, family, crafts, musicals, and the simple joys of life, then you can just stop looking and follow her! She shares my love of maxing out those captions (true storyteller heart), has the SWEETEST little family, and makes you just feel like no matter where you come from or who you are, you belong in her space. And that my friend, is something we could all use a little more of.

Michelle Hickey with @michellehickeydesign

Michelle has a talent for curating a feed that makes you want to enjoy all of the finer things that life has to offer. Whether that is taking a stroll on the beach, curling up with a cocktail and a good book, or slapping on your favorite dress and heading down to explore that cute downtown in your city, her passion to inspire creatives will keep me coming back time after time!

Morgan Harper Nichols with @morganharpernichols

It is figuratively impossible to step away from Morgan’s IG feed and feel yucky. I am pretty much guaranteeing you will love her adorable quotes and affirmations that will touch your heart and soul. Anytime I feel like I need a quick dose of peace and self-love, I turn to her feed. Every bit of it is shareable and extremely loveable.
