My Interview with Jennifer Jones from the Inn at Eagles’ Watch

At the time of this blog post, we are celebrating open registration period for our very first Modern Watercolor Floral: Novice I Workshop that will be held on Saturday, May 7th at the Inn at Eagles’ Watch.

I cannot begin to explain to you how incredibly excited I am to teach this watercolor workshop in one of my favorite locations with one of my favorite people. Jennifer and I met through our mutual friend, Gari-Ann, and we both are a part of a business mastermind group here in Williamsburg.

What started off as two friends having a conversation over coffee at the local Column 15 cafe, turned into a brainstorming session that would give birth to this amazing creative collaboration.

The truth was that when I first step foot on Jennifer’s property that sits on the Chickahominy River, I remember saying to myself, “This place is absolutely incredible! I would love to have an art class here.”

I would have never imagined that exactly a year later, we would be doing just that!

So in honor of her and to help you get to know this lovely woman more, I thought it would be a wonderful idea to do a quick interview of her on my Instagram live. Be sure to check it out and learn more about what led her to become an innkeeper, what she loves about hosting couples at her B&B, and why creativity is so important to what she does as a business owner.

Jennifer is a such a lovely person (inside and out) and I am so incredibly grateful that I get to do this first watercolor workshop with her!
